May 13 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Free – $15.00
Join us on Tuesday, May 13th as Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Michael Graf discusses the journey of writing the film Green and Gold. It promises to be an insightful and entertaining conversation about storytelling in the film industry.
Michael has over 25 years of experience in both the entertainment and advertising industries—writing, producing, and directing content for top brands and studios. A member of the Directors Guild of America, he was named one of the Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch by the International Screenwriters Association. His work includes directing a Super Bowl campaign, earning top screenwriting honors at film festivals in Paris, Nassau, and Los Angeles, and mentoring the next generation of storytellers through teaching screenwriting and filmmaking.
A little more about Michael Graf:
Michael got his first job in Hollywood at Disney Studios because of an earthquake. He got his second job in Hollywood because of a klutz move at a salad bar.
Michael is now a working member of the DGA, a produced screenwriter, who’s been short listed twice for the Academy’s prestigious Nicholl Fellowship, won top screenwriting honors in Paris, Park City and Nassau, directed two Super Bowl commercial campaigns – for Jimmy Johns and Dow Chemical, won an Emmy Award, was named a “Top 25 Screenwriter To Watch” by the International Screenwriters Association and his work was featured on Coverfly’s Top 1% of scripts.
Produced screenplays include GREEN AND GOLD starring Craig T. Nelson, Brandon Sklenar and Charlie Berens and WINTER OF FROZEN DREAMS starring Thora Birch and Keith Carradine, and optioned screenplays include VENICE OF AMERICA, and THE LAST INDIAN WAR.
Michael is still prone to occasional klutz moves, but he’s grateful for every opportunity to tell a good story.
