The Winning Shot with Milwaukee Brewers Photographer Scott Paulus
Join us as we talk with Scott Paulus, Milwaukee Brewers Official Team Photographer as he shares his journey to become a professional photographer focusing on sports and corporate portraits. Scott will discuss strategies for advanced planning including anticipating game-winning plays and pre-visualizing shots. We will discuss workflow, post-processing including managing deadlines and image delivery. We will talk gear, lighting, technology, social media changes and more. Fun fact about Scott, he once shorted out a shiny new Jumbo-Tron during the half time show of a major college basketball game. Yep, that’s a story!
A little more about Scott:
Scott spent six years in the Marines immediately after High School from Waukesha North. During that time he figured out that his passion was in the arts. He attended Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. While in college Scott took advantage of assisting professional photographers and internships to gain knowledge and experience. Scott landed an Internship with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1995 which led to a staff photography position with the team. Scott continues to run his own photography business with clients ranging from sports to corporate.
